The Dept. of Education lists 11 common mistakes many parents make when completing the FAFSA and pursuing those all important scholarship and grant funds for their student.
Few things create the angst of that annual FAFSA application. Both parents and college students know it’s necessary, but it is seldom a painless process and you worry about making mistakes along the way.
If you are a client of PMP and you are wanting your taxes done before you complete the FAFSA (though the link explains it isn’t always necessary to do it in that order) let us know and we will do our best to help.
In addition, though we cannot do it for free, if you would like we can set up an appointment and one of our accountants can help you fill out the FAFSA online.
